Started off with a boy’s Carrera Blast 20″ with rubbish gears, boat-anchor forks etc for £60 and have spent a total of £120 doing it up.
    Gone from this:
    Blast
    To this:
    Blast2
Just needs the stickers, BB & chain.

Changed the forks to Early Rider 20″ disc, Clarks 160mm cable disc & XTR V-brake with Avid FR levers, Brand X seatpost/bars/stem, Madison Jnr saddle & grips, XT/Sora/Suntour 9-speed gears and shaved over 2kg off the weight.
I hope she likes it :-)

Tinyurl works well for Google images.
Copy the link from Google photos.. go to tinyurl and make it tiny. Then post here in the IMG tags.

Stupid question but presumably the rear wheel has a braking surface?

    Thanks PJ 👍

    Love the colour op

It’s RAL 1016, Sulphur Yellow but they’ve added a ‘magic gold’ flake so it’s got a lovely glitter effect in the sun 😎

Tinyurl works well for Google images.

Thanks BB, I’ll give that a go..

presumably the rear wheel has a braking surface?

Yeah, they’re standard wheels with disc hubs. The rims are the same as the v-brake wheels just fully anodised. It’ll wear off with a bit of use..
