Whats available in clip on mudguards for gravel bike fitted with 43mm Gravel King SK. SKS speedrockers would seem the job but they are only for 40mm tyres. Also, one piece front mudguards may have fork clearance issues ? Just wondering what you all are using, thanks.

Mudhugger Gravel on a Spesh Diverge with Gravel King SK 43mm. However the front won't fit on mine with a wide rim, but fits OK on wife's with narrow rim.

I've got SKS speedrockers on my sonder over 40mm WTB nanos, they give good coverage/protection and i would say could go up to a 50mm tyre.

I’ve had speedrockers on my Niner with 43 mm GKs. They work fine on my canal commute. They still are wider than the tyre, though no doubt you’d get better coverage on something smaller, I’m happy. Currently running them with 42 mm Teravail Rutlands.

Yep - I had the same issue with the same bike and guard using 43mm Gravel King SSs. Only size I could get to work was 38mm. Loads of tyre clearance just not for guards as well like the MH. Think a Crud Catcher front fender might be the only way to go

thanks for the info on the speedrocker, looks like it will cope with bigger tyres than listed, so will be ideal for my needs

Personal experience of other SKS guards is there's a bit of leeway in the max size you can get away with. It really depends on the tyre brand/model though with not all sizing up equally.
