Michael Palin – Iraq

Anyone else enjoying seeing him travel and share it with us again?

It was great. One day I hope to find the time to travel back to Iraq and see it in a different light. But for now, this will have to do.

I didn’t know this was on, will give it a watch.
I rewatched 80 days and full circle during lockdown. Bloomin brilliant

Saw the trailer and it looked fantastic – adding it to my catch up list

Watched it, Palin is his usual wonderful self, but seeing Iraq from the inside is eye-opening, especially the Kurds, who usually seem to be the recipients of the shitty end of the stick from everyone, but who are managing to keep a vibrant society going.

Looking forward to the next two.

Well worth it. He’s lost none of his interest in the people and places he visits.

Have recorded it to watch tomorrow, just too many ads on C5.
