    Would look better without the bar ends & crazy stem

    the forks would look good on the normal ss but as I’ve always wanted some of them I would say that

    Chain looks a bit slack.

    Snowflake wheel to top of the “challenging” aesthetic – nice. 🙂

    Pointing wants doing on your dry stone wall, chain looks a little slack.
    Forks are;
    A – On backwards
    B – The very essence of minging

    Saddle angle looks a bit nose down.

    saddle angle and chain tension worry me.

    The rest is more down to aesthetics than anything else. Bar the valve/logo alignment fail which is just plain wrong.

    The ground doesn’t look very wet so what were your real motives behind building that disgusting contraption hey?

    The frame is lovely…what’ll you do about the chain tension? There’s something odd about the front mudguard though…

    Seat post needs to be black. I quite like it 🙂

    …in fact, apart from the frame it is an utter monstrosity

    One more bike in the world is always a good thing, but in future, please don’t post stuff like this so close to lunchtime when people have recently eaten.

    Everything behind the head tube looks great. The front, well that’s a different matter entirely.

    Chain is only slack on the bottom.

    Did you think you’d get away with the bar-ends because you’d stealth-taped them to blend in with the hedge?

    I was stood right next to it last night and didn’t even notice the forks! 😯 Must be that special stealth black paint

    [edit – it was dark]

    Love the forks, how do they ride?

    rogerthecat
    Free Member

    @stilltortoise – they were not on it last night!! 😀
    In fact neither were the mudguards, they went on as a direct result of riding home last night – I may as well have just jumped in the river!
    The chain will be tensioned before it’s ridden in anger.
    The stem means I can sit up a bit and watch for Hora at roundabouts.

    I know. I used their tortured souls, twisted together, to make the tie wraps that keep it on.

    @Podge – I have another pair

    So all I need do is convince you to sell them to me, remove the canti mounts & convert them to 15mm axle… that should take me all of about 10 years and huge amounts of stress yet some how its still appealing to me.
