    ..and that was to drive the bearings out/back in and smash my thumb, leaving claret all over the carpet and the imprint of a lumpy on my knuckle. 🙁
    Meh, it all works. £50 of ebay parts (door seal, tub seal and new bearings) and a wet Sunday = hopefully another 10 years out of the rather good LG washer we have.

    It is amazing what you can do after watching a youtube vid of a pro doing it, and I would buy another LG any day, even today was a ‘straighforward’ job really, it had been designed to take apart.

    IF I am the tightest man in the world (as my Wife maintains) then I’m not the only one – Phew 😆

    I fixed our Bosch Washing Machine recently, rather than buy a new one 8)

    ….it’s still going strong 3 months later. All for £15 and a couple of hours.
