I appreciate that this may not be to everyone’s taste and it probably isn’t even very “good” (look at those banana legs) but it has been a constant feature in our lives and we would like to find another one or something else in a similar style.  Any ideas on where we should start looking?  Google images hasn’t found anything… It feels like it could be Spanish or Italian but I guess it could just be an amateur effort as there were no obvious marks?

Imo looks to good to be amateur.

Anyway, have a bump in the hope one of the artisan-y types on here might be able to help!

If you can bring a tear to your eye on command, pop into repair shop with a sob story.

Dang.. I should have thought of that.

Thanks for Pierre Boncompain, that’s closer than I got and opens up some new avenues to explore… There were no obvious markings.

It would be a bit unusual for a craft ceramicist not to use some sort of identifying mark or stamp but not out of the question.

Theres a Facebook group called ‘British Studio Potters Mystery Pots’ that I’ve used to help identify items in my late dads collection that he’d amassed over the years
