Perhaps if PW Botha's South Africa had taken part in Eurovision a bit of glittery pop would have disguised their apartheid too?

Lost interest when Romania failed to qualify.
Loved the German entry, they couldn’t sing for toffee but it was a good song.

Nice staging for the Russian entry, but the song quite forgettable.
