I have no idea, which is why I am asking.
I doubt the defamation case would be brought if there was any hint of that.
You have to understand that someone like Mr Musk must have a very active imagination.
well that's worked out well for him then.
Huge yawn.
Man makes loads of money through innovation; sets out to change the world; convinces himself he's infallible and invincible; spouts grollocks; finds out he's neither infallible nor invincible; tears all round; the end.
He gets to walk away with billions, so it has worked well for him.
What will the future be for the Tesla factory now then? I reckon it’ll last 2 years max.

From the article above:
As part of the settlement, Musk will remain Tesla’s chief executive but will have to step down as chairman of the company’s board of directors within 45 days.
I bet another car company goes for the take over now. Tesla will live on in future as Ford/GM/Geely/etc
Tesla doesn't have anything that other car companies need. They lose money on every sale. Might as well just pile 50 billion dollars in a heap and set it on fire.

This... the likes of GM etc already have the distribution and servicing network. They may need to update some production lines but they don’t need Tesla for this. Normally the biggest asset would be the IP but Tesla offered all this up for free to anyone who wanted it...
for sure there are some bits other companies want but they can just recruit the people doing it.
the challenge is not making an electric car for $50-80k but making money on one at s sale price of $20k
Another challenge is making a car that doesn't crash. Which is why the major manufacturers haven't joined Tesla's race to be first to bring "autonomy" to the marketplace.

I did not. Why would I ?
This is the first step down to leaving the organisation IMO, walk away with billions in the bank whilst leaving the organisation flailing in the outfall of failed investment promises, failed promises of “class leading” and innovation poorly thought out. The outcome ?
Sinking ship.
Soon after, Mr Unsworth's lawyers posted a series of tweets criticising Mr Musk and his characterisation of their client.
Is this really what Lawyers do now ? 😳
"I did not. Why would I ?"
Because you would have been more likely to know what you're on about if you had.
