    I have its not the same as a busy town centre but not that dissimilar from other rural areas IME- tended to avoid riding the busier roads but you were not necessarily safer on the “quiet” roads.

    I had a Kom on a Devon hill a few years ago. Strava was a novelty then mind…and it had barely percolated down that way
