    I know we often bleat on about unfair press coverage of cyclists but why did they use a photo of him in a helmet…….

    This^. Looks like it may have been clipped from a video and was probably the most clear image they had of his face.

    Stumpyjon’s example is more shocking though in my eyes. At no point does it say whether the cyclist was wearing one or not, and the implication that not wearing a helmet rather than have a car drive into you would be the biggest source of injury is outrageous.
