Having several 531 road frames kicking about I have decide thats its time to play a bit. My blacksmith!!! brother reckons that the 0.8mm wall diameter is well within the capabiliies of him and his staff as well as the kit they have so welding/brazing is no issue. What I need to find are disc brake mounts. Unlikely I think but you never know. I can’t even find the “bolt on ” ones that were to be seen at one time for the rear. Yes I can fabricate them but buying is easier. Any one know of a supply or anything that may help?
Equally , anyone done it and have advice.
