I have an anthem, looking for some light cranks, is it possible to use a set of road fsa omega carbon set of cranks (five arm) with smaller rings, as a double set up?

not going to be doing anything silly jumpy,

only things i could think of are the bb not fitting, chain rub or ring clearance, any advice?

Is the axle on the cranks long enough for your bottom bracket?

Road bikes are 68mm. MTBs are often 73mm. If so, then it'll fit.

WRT how it'll last I'm not sure. My worry would be how strong the cranks are at the pedal inserts.

If it's a 68mm shell it's possible, although you won't be able to run smaller than a 34t inner ring.

I think the size of the rings would be your problem e.g I doubt a 32 tooth ring would fit.

Correct, as I said, no smaller than 34t. May be able to get a custom 32t inner and file the spider.

As an aside, why would you want to? The Omega caqrbon seems to weigh >1000g. Just use XT, with a double ring it'll be lighter and you'll have more usable ratios.

But why would you even want to 😯

most carbon cranks aren't lighter than Shimano HT2 jobs. Plus the Shimanos are tougher.
