why has the buy it now disappeared on my ebay listing? i look like a plonker now as i have said in the listing 'buy it now £100 cheaper than CRC' 😡

I think the Buy it Now disappears if someone bids, it certainly used to.

I'm guessing because you listed the item without a reserve price.

In that scenario, as soon as you receive a bid…even if it's 99p then the BIN disappears.

If you'd of set a reserve, then the BIN would have remained until the reserve was met.

That's how it worked last time I read the rules anyway.

Did you have the listing as buy it now and auction? If so the BIN naffs off as soon as you get a bid placed.

Note to self: Don't write reply, then make a cup of tea, then press submit. Chances are you will be too late with pertinent info
