The shell has split in my C15. Brooks don’t sell spares! You have to buy a complete saddle! Given it can be fully disassembled it makes absolutely no sense 🙁

    Shame on you Brooks

I would speak to them nicely by email. They suggested i send mine in and they replaced the cover foc. So no real shame there.

Got a C15 carved virtually brand new if you’re interested in replacing yours! Drop me a message.

I just bought a new c17. Noticed that you no longer need to log them for the warranty which I’m sure was 10 years when I bought one a couple of years back. You now only get 2 years..

I know someone on their third. I can understand why they might have reduced the warranty. 😉

By far the most uncomfortable saddle I’ve ever ridden, even after trying to break it in for a few months. Does cold weather make the rubber stiffen up? Was absolute agony climbing on it in January.

I like them, but once one of my aluminium rivets fell out. I ordered a new one, and it came by air mail from Italy for a 5g rivet, with about a Kilo of paper and cardboard including an unsolicited hipster magazine promoting the brand.

I emailed them pointing out the big contrast with the environmentally friendly opportunities gained from cycling, and they posted me about twenty rivets FOC in a jiffy bag. Presumably to stop me contacting them again.

Brooks have been bought by Selle Italia I think and have lost focus.

I spokes to someone at Brooks in Birmingham. He was pretty much “cambium are Selle’s, you need to talk to Italy, but they’ll say ‘no'”

That would have been in 2002.

Founded in 1866 so 20 years isn’t that long……longer than I thought though!
