off to Oakhampton for a family wedding taking the bike and thinking of doing an overnighter does anyone know of some spots around the area i know that some people might not want to share spots on an open forum so email if you want email in profile.

I can’t entirely recomend anywhere but what I can recommend is to not leave all your food wrappers, tissues and (used) bog roll scattered around the area like some fecker has outside a botched homemade shelter near Burrator. Grrrrrrr!!

thisis my favourite bivvy site on dartmoor. unfortunately for you its south dartmoor but ready made really large (enough for 6people) fairly waterproof and in the middle of some really nice routes…hth
