In a recent house move a signet ring given to me by my late Grandmother went missing. The insurance company has paid out and after a bit of deliberation I've decided to invest in a watch instead of replacing the ring. I enjoy watches a lot and thought I'd look for something with simple [classic?] styling that will last as long as I will. Going by the way I ride these days that won't be long but anyway...
Looking for your comments on the looks and brand of the following three watches, all of which are new to me. If you have any other suggestions I'd be happy to hear your comments.
I should note that I have a recent Omega Seamaster (Bond watch) plus an original 1950's version handed down from my Grandfather. This is being kept for my son's 18th. I also have a Casio Protrek which I use for riding and outdoor playtime.
Which of these for everyday wearing?
Christopher Ward C11 MSL MK1 Automatic in Silver

And in black
Dievas Vortex
Stowa Marine Automatic
Thanks.
Of the ones you've posted pic's, I prefer the CW in silver but I'd have to have the strap changed for a quality, padded black leather one with white stitching and silver buckle.
Sorry if this is a bit dim, but what's wrong with wearing your omega? I've had mine (also a seamaster) for about twelve years now, and I wear it every day, no matter what I'm doing. Yes, they're expensive watches, but surely it's better to use them rather than shut them in a drawer or whatever?
Thanks Derek.
Barnsleymitch, I wear my Omega a lot but there are times when I would like to wear something else. something leather and less sporty.
Sorry if my post came across as a bit arsey, I just dont get it when you own a watch as nice as your seamaster and dont want to wear it all the time. ๐
