Looking at switching from Android to a Windows Phone either a 830 or 930 and after some advice if poss on the following. I know it is missing some apps but not too bothered, but interested in the following:-

Battery Life - about average or less so on the 930?

Spotify - any issues, including offline listening?

Casting - There is no chrome cast app but is there anything else that can be used?

Audio & Quality - some reviews mention low audio volume, is this so. Is is easy to get music on or is Xbox music a pain?

I have the 930.
Battery life is decent, lasts me from 06:30 til 18:00 when I get home, that's general browsing/skiving at work & texts/calls etc.
Don't use Spotify so can't help you there.
Casting - again, no idea.
Volume is fine for me, I'm a bit deaf so tend to set the call volume around 25 out of 30.
Getting music onto the phone is dead easy - I can do it! You will also have access to the MixRadio app which is really good for free music, podcasts etc.

I have a Lumina 925 and can easily go all day without charging itso I'd imagine battery life for the 930
will be similar.

I don't use Spotify either but do use a good Soundcloud app called Noiz.
Casting-I can use Plex to cast videos and pictures to another Plex enabled device don't know about chromecast though.
No issues with sound on mine or any other of the windows phones I have had.
You can just drag and drop music onto it or store it in a Onedrive folder and stream it, no faffing around with iTunes or similar required.

I have a 920 and Spotify is fine. Have not managed to find a working app to link to my Chromecast, yet

Audio quality is good, but I have had some issues with a couple of pairs of headphones and the line in on a Vito where even when the phone was turned fully up the audio wasn't very loud.
