seemed a bit harsh to me, barriers were not straight where Hushvod tried to pass

The relegation wasn't for moving over on Huschvod, it was for looking over his shoulder during a sprint. No idea what the lad was doing.

His stated objectives in order were: to win stages, to get to Paris and to win green jersey - so no. He also inferred after his last win the only stage he wanted to win was in Paris
