John Hegley wrote the only poem I can remember by heart.
My doggie don’t wear glasses
So they’re lying when they say
A dog looks like it’s owner
Aren’t they.
plus, claim to fame, when I saw him live, he got me to shout “Amoeba” at the end of one of his poems 😁
Whatever happened to Hegley anyway, is he still going? Time was he was on my TV more than dust.
