Got thinking how things change

About 15 years ago I was having a conversation with my course tutor about how if I really wanted to carry on with chemistry I should probably try a lesser university...
I went through a couple of 10k technical jobs, one paying not much more that nearly killed me, lucked out with a certain nuclear establishment and found myself giving advice based on my extensive experience today. Somebody actually flew me to Jakarta for the week to hand over a project and teach a bunch of bright guys what I know.

If somebody had shown me this year's ago I'd have laughed and walked away. Slightly self absorbed and reflective but also I'm still amazed how much things can change.
