[Closed] Who to trust for domestic led lighting?

Need some low profile lighting in the garage (so it clears the garage door when open). I'm thinking about led panels. I can either recess them into the plaster board or surface mount them.

Who are the brands to trust for a modest budget?

What temperature colour are people putting in workshops?

You thought of using LED strip? - cheap and easy.

If recessed why not just buy the cheapest downlighters you can and stick either Ikea or Asda LED GU10's in them?
Loads of light for not a lot.

Considered it, but it seems even more involved. Who's good for that stuff then?

+1 for LEDHut. With the exception of 2 bulbs every one in my place has come from them, including the fireboxes in the bathroom.

All have been excellent.

There are cheaper sources out there but experience tells me they're not worth it.

Well, it the exact opposite to stw tradition, I've actually taken the advice offered here. Despite wanting square panels, I've gone for round recessed downlighter as that's what LED hut have.

I assume I'm also going to need something to keep the insulation off the voltage driver as well then?
