we didn't move in untill Summer 2006, brought the neibourhood down a few notches, plenty of bonfires/BBQ's with wood form the skips, usualy followed by amature pyrotechnics involving aerosols and lengths of metal pipe ๐Ÿ™‚

Ahh, well we were at it before you...as were many many students - we had all the new garden plants stolen one night and left piled up on the high street outside the chippy... ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

There was an article about all this on the Beeb news recently, with the focus being on Camera Place, and one of my fave pubs in That There London, the Sporting Page.

Got to love a pub where the umbrellas outside aren't sponsored by John SMiths or Carling but by Bollinger!

cuckoo, how exactly?

if i was a criminal all it would show me is that

-99% of houses have net curtains,
-at some point last summer the owners may or may not have been at home

what usefull information can your average criminal mastermind extrapolate form that?

I live too far out in the middle of nowhere for google to care about me.

Even TomTom gets lost on the way to my house.

Have you all seen the various car crashes, house fires, assorted weird goings on on streetview? Including the results of one of the camera cars hitting a deer?

๐Ÿ˜ฅ - they did where I went to Uni (which is the only place I've lived for more than a few weeks they have), but can't actually see either of the places I lived from where they went - not even a single picture of my college that I can find!

Holy cow!

The direction of travel of the bloke knocking the old dear off would suggest he's come out of the one way street the wrong way. And she's not wearing a helmet.

Aaaaaggghhhh - it's a STW moral minefield!!!

Just looked up my Mum's address and can see my car parked outside!

I've seen the Google Maps car a few times, only a couple of days ago on the other side of the M74 and once as I was coming back from Gatwick airport.

Unfortunately for me, the Google Astra decided to run past my house when next door were selling a Shocking Pink chavved-up Corsa last summer...I hope no-one thinks it's mine :-S

Maybe it is not the wisest thread? I live here and I have a really nice bike. You can view entry and exit routes to my house before you arrive so all you have to do is come in and grab the bike?

You want to tell people what time you are at work as well? do you commute on your bike or do they have to wait until it is night time?

Do admit it is a cool thing, just maybe not so cool showing each others addresses?

If your stupid enough to put where you live now on here then you deserve it! Its not the threads fault, nobody is making you! ๐Ÿ™„

not saying its the fault of the thread, merely pointing out that some undesirables may be reading this as well

Point taken but if anyone ever broke into my place and nabbed my bikes it'd be because they either saw me ride to or from there, or saw my bike rack on the car outside, rather than wading through some of the rubbish posted on here lol ๐Ÿ˜‰

However...

Note to any potential burglars reading this - everything is well and truly locked and alarmed at my place so don't even bother, I would definately hear and would be on your @ss with some Bombers before you'd even realise!!!...besides you're much better off going next door as they obviously have chav-bling which you're much more likely to sell on for a tidy profit :-p
