Currently I can't see a way.

Right at home. But interesting point about the door. In the 5 years that me and the mrs have been together we have travelled alot and stayed in many beds and by pure coincidence apart from her parents I have always slept the side closest to the door. Only just noticed that

Anyone who sleeps on the opposite side to me is WRONG and should not be allowed in a bed.
I've done an advanced sleeping course so I think I know a little more than most on here.

Right side. Obvs.

Furthest from the radiator.

That currently doesn't apply, so for some reason the right hand side.

Left side, which gives me control of the window & the radiator.

Phone cradle cable doesn't reach over that side either.

Left side and furthest from door. Heathen, I hear you cry! Heavily pregnant wife stole the right side for toilet trips every nanosecond ๐Ÿ˜€

Left.
There's a huge great empty space on the right. Not sure what it's for.

Left furthest from the door.. when the kids wake up in the night I can give Mrs cloudnine a helping foot out towards the door.

I'm on the right, on the very edge and furthest from the door.

This is the one true way. I can Google some links to prove it if you're stupid enough not to agree.

Nearest the window, furthest from the door. In the current set up, that puts me on the left.

Left for the last 9 years, I prefer the right but she won that early battle. If in a hotel then closest to door, which ever that may be.

Middle, only have a single bed, there is only me in it, and didn't see the point in wasting space in the room with a bigger bed.

Left.
We tried the other way round once and it didn't feel right, so that was that.

I sleep on the right side, but generally get out of the wrong side.

When I built the van I stupidly put the bed transversely across it so one person is trapped at the back. Sleeping in the van = drinking beer = wanting a waz at 3 in the morning. This and putting a brew on in the morning I am expected to perform without waking her ladyship up in the favoured forward birth. Think I need to grow a pair!

The wife and I have a simple solution to ensure we each remain on our side of the bed during the night. He's a staffie cross called Bailey who sleeps in the neutral zone (otherwise known as the middle).

Right side normally. But normally whatever space is left is mine. Her ladyship travels round the bed. Pissed on her chips when I had my hinged knee brace on after surgery, the metal and Velcro dug in apperantly.

Right, but I mostly sleep in my study these days; we have a restless baby so I do the weekend shift. Strangely I sleep on the left of the double bed there.

Whichever bit is not occupied by the wife doing her finest starfish impression. Officially the left is my side but in reality i would probably have more room if i got in on the right.

This was my one & only victory when moving in with her indoors. I sleep on the right hand side , or as per the diagram... the right hand side quarter ๐Ÿ˜ณ
