Drayton MiTime fits the bill for reliability and ease of use. Cheap(ish).

I've had one of these in the last 3 properties we have had.

Good price, works well.

The Drayton is different to the Honeywell linked above, it is a single channel, only suitable for a combi boiler.

OP - is it a combi?
If so, then a single channel is what you need, if not, then as you have linked, 2 channel.
You'll also need a room stat.

PlumbCenter do a 'own brand' range, which are renamed Honeywells, albeit, older versions.
The 2 channel linked above says '2 wire' it isnt, you'll need LNE plus HW on/off and CH on, so 5 or 6 wires, depending on what heating system you have. They are £35ish at Plumbcenter.

If a combi, then they do a wireless programmable stat at £50, probably the best deal you could get, and they are reliable too.

All the range are here:
http://www.plumbcenter.co.uk/en/deals/controls-pumps-offer/

I fit the first and 2nd with some regularity.
