We've continued to hold off on going abroad due to non-vax, albeit we could have got away with it, but glad we haven't booked anything with the chaos.
Got Y-not festival for 4 days at the end of July, having 24hrs recovery and then dragging the tin tent to Dorset for 10 nights.
Went to Charmouth last year, but actually spent most of our time in Lyme Regis - somewhere I'd never really considered, but it's lovely. Going to explore the Dorset coast a bit more this year.

Greece - sailing in the Ionian Islands. Kids are 14 & 17, so possibly the last family holiday.
The plan is Croatia (split between Dubrovnik and err, Split) , but the reality is probably stood waiting to clear Security at Manchester Airport, by the looks of it.

Unlimited windsurfing kit hire and tuition in the afternoons. That's Mrs BigJohn having a blast (on a Fanatic Blast, incidentally) and we're off there again Sunday.

Cyprus in July with the Doris, Glentress in August with the girlfriend and either Cyprus or Croatia in October depending the situation in Ukraine and flight prices.

3 nights in Northumberland on 2nd July with the caravan.
Dorset for a week on 14th July then New Forest for another week, both caravan.
3 nights somewhere near Liverpool in the caravan again on 5th August.
Harlech on 19th August, caravan again 7 nights.
Northumberland yet again, 3 nights, caravan, 23rd September.
Driving down to Estepona for the whole of October.
Goa for 2 weeks in January.
Derbyshire in April.
Fort William in May closely followed by a week on Mull.
Norfolk, caravan 10th June.
Majorca, 3rd July.

Anglesey this year in the love shack. Parents took us pretty much every year and I love the place. Towed the caravan down to Brixham last year. Lovely area but 9 bloody hours driving.😬x
Well, we were going to head up north to Orkney today, partly to cover the backyard ultra at ****t and partly for a holiday as the Mrs has never been there. However, after providing medical cover at the West Highland Way race this past weekend, some delightful mucky runner has given me covid so that's off. Grumble.
Away in van up to Clachtoll then Speyside then Braemar for a few weeks. Just been cycling in Majorca and the hassle of travel and flights , which i do every week for work, isn't worth it just now. Happy to go and hermit in our van and hopefully see some sun and have some adventures.

MTB and road options looking good for me.
Lots of other sports (swim and tennis) for Mrs Epic
Lots of volleyball, tennis and MTB for EpicJnr and his mate from school

Aberfeldy for 2 weeks at the start of July, just me so loads of riding, maybe a hike or 2, plus some general touristy stuff.
Sunny Dumfries, and maybe a Highlands trip if circumstances allow.
Had a Snowdonia week last month.
leaving on saturday to head to Alpe D'huez for the Megavalanch (boys holiday), then we have a motorhome booked for the end of july for a short family get away in yorkshire, which ends at the Ard Rock enduro.
We decided to leave this year with travelling abroad for family holiday, give the world a chance to settle a little more... not that that seems to be happening.
A collection of caravans of varying age and decrepitude on whatever dropzone has the best weather or event at the time.
I've already done the expensive holiday for the year (a week in Klatovy), so this is just random jumping with bits of house renovation mixed in.
A 4 day trip to Normandy on the motorbike with Mrs Bloke on Sunday. Off to camp at a small music festival in Gloucestershire the following weekend.
In October, sailing in Greece with some mates.
Bike, cleaned, lubed, fuelled and ready to go.
Did a gravel Transalp last week of May, last week at Lago Maggiore both too hot, so will calm it down with 2 weeks in Thirsk in August 🥳
Sundsvall in Sweden in August.
Came back from the Hebrides yesterday so Mrs kilo now wants a holiday somewhere warm and dry. No idea where yet.
Will also be over in Ireland (Co Kerry) at some stage(s). May even drive over for a main holiday there.
Kefalonia in September.

We are setting off in the camper tomorrow for around 3 weeks touring Europe. Looking to get in loads of riding, uplifted, guided and a bit of our own planning with Trailforks. Taking the Enduro and Turbo Levo.
Starting at Lake Lugano then onto Lake Garda for a week. Travelling accross to the Aosta Valley, La Thuile and Pila, then up and over to Verbier. Finishing up in Samoens and then back home
A week in Wales at the beginning of August
A week in Finale at the end of September coupled with another week in the same area but yet to plan that bit.

Driving from Bromley to Italy.
Night in Geneva on the way down, then 7 nights in a Eurocamp on that strip of land that runs across the front of the Venice lagoon.
after that we've got 14 nights in another huge campsite in Lake Garda, before a 1 night stop-over in France on the way home.
23 nights is possibly the longest holiday i've ever had - and only made possible due to a unique set of circumstances this year.
I'm taking my road bike and cannot wait!
Off to france for 3 weeks end of July, 1 week in northern Ardeche and then two weeks down south about an hours north of Montpellier. Dont take bikes on holiday so generally hunt around for lots of wild swimming places and rocks for the boys to launch off
I iz going to Mallorca, which is clearly the place to go, seeing as Klopp, Guardiola, CR7, Arteta, Brendan Rogers etc are all out there.

@teenrat Wait, Sundsvall? I'm currently in Östersund (two hours further north and west) and can recommend it for a visit if you have a car.
Clent hills for a week, it's only 20 minutes from the Commonwealth Games aquatic centre where we'll be going to watch our son competing. The tickets are not cheap and he has to be back at work so it's just one week for us. Also popping down to see the MIL who has dementia and is in care. Happy holidays.
