No GF at the moment but my FB is fun and very clever, and doesn't get jealous of my bike and other girls like the last one 🙂
thegreatape - MemberVery pretty, by and large very agreeable
Almost the same as mine - she's pretty, bi and large and very agreeable 😉
she's pretty, bi and large and very agreeable
😉
Did you mean:
she's pretty, by and large and very agreeable?
I mean, each to his own and all, but, well....very modern of you!
This thread truly is useless without pictures..
Come on, post them up and we'll play 'Hot or Not'
🙂
She has a husband who can be bad tempered when he's on nights or stressed, he buggers off for weekends with his mates sometimes female ones, they share very little hobbies except good booze and food, he spends money like it's going out of fashion on gadgets. So to put up with me she has to pretty good. We rarely fall out, we rarely even arguing, we never stop each other going out or away somewhere. And we have 2 great kids.
She does annoy me at times though but it tends to be stupid things that annoy me but we've been an item for 19 years so it's no wonder.
*please can you try and get your undies into the laundry basket and not just at the side of it.
He wears undies? 😯
Just me and the Cat.
Never once has he moaned that there are too many bikes in the spare room, he doesn't poo on the floor and he loves to share fish and chips (well, just the fish.)
I think he's a keeper
Mine's a right bag of spanners - punched well above her weight, I can tell you. Totally barmy bitch, too.
Got trapped in the usual fashion and now have eight bag o' spanners kids to boot. So I do, regularly...
Mine reads this forum and in the words of a close friend, "makes me less weird!"
Oh, and further to the picture above, anyone who has seen my mountain bike handling skills or smelt my jersey after a long ride will appreciate it takes a special kind of person to sit behind me on a tandem for hours on end.
Hot or Not?!
Hot
Not
(Shall take these down shortly)
MTQG in "cranks not aligned" tandem HORROR!!!
She's mad as a box of frogs.
Which is why I'm marrying her in two months' time.
MidlandTrailquestsGraham - MemberAll women are mad, the best you can hope for is to find one who's madness is compatible with your own
Innit?
Yeah, she's cute Houns, you did well there!
Didn't I just *smug*
Not as well as she's done of course. Ahem .
MTQG in "cranks not aligned" tandem HORROR!!!

perhaps not all that horrific. 😉
My bf is awesome. He's my best friend, he makes me laugh and smile, and sometimes cry (in a good way).
He used to be a chef so our dinners are always jolly tasty (carbonara tonight!), he brews his own wine and beer, bakes lovely bread and he enjoys cycling as well! 😀
I on the other hand cannot cook for toffee, don't have the patience to brew a pot of tea and am the one who dragged him kicking and screaming on a 20 mile bike ride last weekend...
When I get one, I'll let you know 🙄
I have irrefutable proof that mine is a witch.
Mine looks like a cross between Michelle Pfeiffer and Lisa Bonet. She has amazing taste in music and loves going to gigs with me. She doesn't mind if I spend a whole weekend out biking... she's a good laugh.....
If only I could bloody find her!
As is our daughter
[img]
Well, she tolerates me.
So I assume something is fairly seriously wrong with her.
Mines a PITA at the moment 😆
Think Hilda Ogden meets Vlad the Impaler
She's a wonderful woman. My best friend, soul mate and the mother of my beautiful daughters. I'm also punching way, way above my weight..

It was tempting to post a 25-year-old photo but here's one from a month ago.
I'll see if I can get a photo of Mrs cloudnines face when my new frame gets delivered on Monday.. It will not be pretty
Hot or not
Hmmm... I've done 'hot' but they were all nuts (cranks, more like)
Current & probably last Mrs G is a warm, considerate, generous, loving, trusty, hard working (kids nurse), uncomplaining, tolerant, country loving good cook & housekeeper. & she thinks I'm awesome what with my 10" tongue & the ability to breathe through my ears.
She's lovely is my Mrs.
she thinks I'm awesome what with my 10" tongue
I'm not surprised! 😆
MrsFlyingOx has distilled the act of turning logic on its head into an artform, and (according to herself) looks like a female Matt Damon. She's cool though. Short, Scottish, passionate, beautiful, and she's the most awesome mum to MiniFlyingOx.
And she's punching above her weight.
I on the other hand cannot cook for toffee, don't have the patience to brew a pot of tea and am the one who dragged him kicking and screaming on a 20 mile bike ride last weekend...
You do yourself a disservice, being dragged out is probably exactly what he wants and needs. Left to my own devices I'd sit at home in front of the telly / Xbox / PC all night, I'm a better person for not getting away with that.
My wife is french - so complete score for me. 😀
Hot as a hot thing that's very hot and leads her field in academia. 😀
looks like a female Matt Damon.
You're married to Julia Stiles and I claim my pint and a half!
Never heard of her . However that is a fair shout having google imaged her
Mine recently sold her loom to fund a new one, at no extra cost.
I recently sold my bike to fund a new one, at no extra cost*.
We had the exact same conversations about each different hobby - sometimes at the same time. So she'd be discussing her loom up grade and I'd reply to her talking about my bike upgrade.
She's a lot like me.
* she achieved her aim and only spent £20 extra, I'm about £200 down so far!
Bunnyhop - Member*please can you try and get your undies into the laundry basket and not just at the side of it.
Wouldn't it be easier just to move the laundry basket to the left a bit?
she's 39 weeks pregnant!
Currently a big moany pain in the arse pregnant lump lol
ha! snap!
Bunch of pussies, lying fraudulent posts reported everyone of you.
my mrs is pretty fantastic...i think. she has to be to put up with a big winging lump like me.
and she loves cycle touring too......... 8)
Mine is, er, complex.
Love her to bits. Amazing woman to achieve all she has despite her cerebral palsy. And having had to cope with me for the last 19 years. Great mum, dedicated professional in a very stressful job, dedicated Guide leader to a group of girls from a tougher part of town.
But there are days when we could cheerfully kill each other.....
This thread has contains no accurate data compared to the UK divorce and single status statistics ........ So who is going to give the elephant in the room a kick? Suppose it's me then - unbalanced, over emotional, reverse logic specialist, loves a restaurant on first visit - hates it second time, everything is an issue other than that she's great.
Been together 27 years as of last Monday.
Never once thought about leaving her / finishing it. Says it all really.
I do what I want, buy what I want, as does she. Our daughters (15and nearly 13) seem very well balanced, bright, and fun to be with.
One of my better life decisions.
