The gawd-awful huge grill on my MG HS, there’s now a pheasant stuck in it, or what’s left of a pheasant after hitting it at 50mph - they really explode in a shower of feathers and bits of meat all over the place.
Not fussed about the grill, even less fussed about the pheasant as they’re an invasive species (could say the same about us humans i suppose?)
The connector pin on a little electric connector for my car headlights.
It should be easy to replace, right?
The car is not exactly standard, and the fitting I used was that last one I had that I had for ages. Turns out no normally available connector pin fits. Of the two ends of the socket the female end is tight against the bulkhead, so it can't be removed or replaced without removing large parts of the car, possibly including the entire dashboard. This means I've got to use the original male connector and get a new connector pin for it.
Six local electrical suppliers all confirm they don't have the right connector pin. The only place I've found on the internet that does supply them has the correct size and is perfect. Minimum order quantity: 2,000.
Does anyone want 1999 specialist connector pins?
