life is a bit turbulent at the mo and it just got me thinking about it for some reason.
me 22:00 ish, up at 05:00 - 06:00
21.00 and about 05.30.
as i suffer with messed up sleep patterns/insomnia,it can widely vary.i go through stages of sleeping at night, then sleep through day instead.sleep times can vary between anything from 3-4 hours to over 12 😯
9:30-10ish bed and up at 5:45
Bed at 11 and up at 6.
About 9:30 and then get up when baby screams.
Sleep 10.30 ish
Wake 6 ish
Week nights: 11-12, up at 6-7
Weekends; 1ish, up around 9-10ish
This week, wake at 4.20, bed when I'm tired, between 8-10 usually
Next week, wake at 6.30 when GF's alarm goes off, bed about 11.
Got to love shifts!
12 and 6:30.
Unless travelling when it could be a 4am start.
22:00-23:30
5:20-06:00
00.30 - 7.30
About 12 and 6 most days. Apart from today when it was 12 and 3:45. It's already starting to hurt a bit. I have no idea how a friend of mine (registrar, training to be a nuro surgeon) is effective on 24 / 36 hr shifts and very little or unusual sleep patterns
11-5 most days! Not lOng enough
0030 - 0600 - I wonder why I'm always tired! 🙂
22.00ish - 06.02 (when the alarm goes off - I hate round numbers).
10.30 - 11 ish most night
up at 7 weekdays, closer to 9 weekends
23:00, and up at about 04:00...
I don't need to be up then, I just struggle'sleeping,
11-11:30 to bed and up and about at 6:30-6:45
21:30-22:30 and up at 03:45...
10:45 - 05:00 weekdays
midnight - 06:00 weekends
Bed around 10:30/11 pm, wake up around 5:30 - 6
I've always been a morning person and would happily go to bed a bit earlier to get an extra hour's sleep.
Unfortunately HRH is a bit of a night-owl and would happily go to bed at midnight and sleep in until 8.
So, 10:30/11 as a compromise.
06.02 (when the alarm goes off - I hate round numbers).
🙂 .. alarm set to 05:53 for me 😕
10-11 depending on tiredness
5am wake up
I've got into a pattern of functioning on a few hours sleep. Bed at about half midnight, up at about 6.
I usually turn in around 11-ish +/- half an hour.
I get up usually around 30 minutes earlier than I want to, based on whatever time the kids start trying to make their own breakfasts. Easier to do without 30 mins sleep than spend the rest of the day clearing up.
10pm ish to bed, up at 6:30am. What a rock and roll life I lead.
ahh reassuring to know other poeple having weird sleep patterns.
06.02 (when the alarm goes off - I hate round numbers).
when i'm on earlies its 05:26, lol, missus says why not just set it to 25 past, get extra 60 secs sleep my way.
bed at 3 am and up at 7am.. (with a couple of wakeful moments around 4 and 6).. what do I win..?
Bed at 10.30ish & on a bad night up around 1, 3 and 5 before Mrs P's alarm goes off at 6.30.
Bed between 11 and 12.
Up between half 5 to quarter past 6.
bed at 3 am and up at 7am.. (with a couple of wakeful moments around 4 and 6).. what do I win..?
An early grave?

Bed 11, up 7:30 (or later if I can).
Student, so sleep at 3-4am, up at 11am-12pm (today's an early one).
About midnight to 1 am and then up at 05.45 if I have work and 7am if I'm off and have the kids to look after.
Been on nights this weekend so bed at about 8am and up around 11-12 speaking of which time to get up.
last night is a prime example, . . . bed at 11.15 up at 8.00 . . .
10.30-6.30 except wed and fri when its 10.30-5.30 for a swim
Bed about 23:00 - 23:30, up at 5:00 normally.
They're the scheduled times, I'm usually up about 2:30, 3:00.
Hmmm I've been pretty reliable all my life actually.
Early to bed, early to rise makes a Man healthy (yes) wealthy (moderatly) and wise (Ok 2/3 ain't that bad)
So that's about 2200-0600 then.
Go to bed between 23:00 and 00:00 and get up between 06:00 and 07:00 - 6am start is if I'm cycling to work.
Saw an article recently which said that throughout history - from Egyptians to Victorians - there's records of people having 2 sleeps per night, going to bed at dusk, waking for a few hours to read/study/do arty stuff/clean the house etc, then back to sleep until dawn.
Apparently this '8-hours sleep' thing is very modern and conflicts with our natural sleep patterns, causing tiredness and stress. Guess its driven by inventions like elctric lights etc so we can carry on later in the evening and effectively reduce 'night-time'.
ps used to work/ride until 1 or 2 am then get up at 5.30, now a more sensible 11 to 6.
Normally about 2-3am to sleep (sometimes 4 if I'm unable to sleep more than normal) and up at 9ish.
Some days I just don't bother going to bed as I'll end up more tired and unable to get up in time for work.
Any time between 10pm and midnight normally then get up between 7am and 7:30am.
The only time I've ever stayed up all night was whilst working for a company that had to "get stuuf done by morning"
We worked right through, got stuff done then promptly pootled off to the pub. Most had two pints max and went home to bed.
Stimulating conversation it was IIRC.
Spring 0200hr - 1000hr
Summer 0300hr - 1100hr
Autumn 0100hr - 0900hr
Winter 1200hr - 0700hr (need hibernation)
I try to get 7 to 8 hour sleep as much as I can regardless of the day.
ebygomm - Memberbed at 3 am and up at 7am.. (with a couple of wakeful moments around 4 and 6).. what do I win..?
An early grave?
Lack of sleep 'linked to early death'
Yeah right if that's the case there will be no one left in Japan and Korea ...
bed 12-1230, rise 8-830, usually do emails in bed first thing
