Is anyone able to suggest a good shake or energy product that can be consumed post ride to stave off the munchies?

I've started to ride to work recently and found that upon returning home I have an overwhelming urge to raid the fridge and load up on calories, which defeats the object as I'm trying to shed weight.

All the best.

Home made milk shakes are good. Banana, honey, yoghurt - even cocoa powder.

I also like the Torq recovery drinks - particularly the Chocolate Orange - as they are easier to take along to rides and consume within that important 20-minute window.

use a frijj chocolate fudge brownie shake, and magic window is 20 minutes after exercise. Refuel as much then on crap as your body will continue burning it

I use the frijj milkshakes too, dunno if it makes a difference but I like them anyway. Milk would serve the same purpose.
