looking for a couple of jackets for the kids, of similar packable weight to my Montane Prizm. just for walking and messing about mid season and summer nights camping etc.
preferably ill be able to pick up from store so they can try on, and so we can use this weekend...

+1 any kids insulated jacket will do, or a fleece and waterproof combo.
Ours have always preferred fleeces and waterproof - they could strip off or layer up as they ran around.

Try before you buy if you have one locally.
Easy returns if you order online.
Might not meet you need it by the weekend criteria though.
