Whatever feel comfortable when I try them on and are in budget. Fashion is not my forte in the slightest.

44 here, too old for skinnies, so baggy-ish and "regular" Howies style.

Levi's Vintage 1954x

best fit for big thigh blokes, wide seat and things, tapers from the knee down if you want a narrow hem

APC New Standards for winter raw denim, size down though as it stretches at least 2 sizes when worn

Levi's Vintage 1947 for a worn look winter denim, at the most a one wash look or its too light for winter

Depends what Top Shop are doing in a 36" inside leg at the time... The Baxter ones are good!

With that attitude, full on beige is just around the corner mate.

Comfy flannel lined Oakley ones I bought in a sale for £40 some years ago. Loose fit, at a rough guess. Otherwise it would have been a pair of Danish Army M95 combats; dead comfy, loads of pockets, ¾-lined, and cost £16. Winter, innit!

Anyone older than 25 looks a tit wearing skinny denims. Unless they're one of the Ramones.

Bootcut, all day, every day.
Don't do straight/regular cos my feet are too big.
Don't do skinny cos my calves are too big.
Don't do loose because I'm not a fatty.

Straight leg....brand not important....fit is everything....fitted around waist, hips, buns and thighs, loose below the knee.

Skinny jeans on an adult?....no, for Russell Brand wannabe types.
Loose fit/baggy?....for children perhaps.

I used to only wear boot cut but decided I need a shake up and now wear slim fit which ironically look much better with boots.. Levi 513 and 514

Don't do skinny cos my calves are too big and I'm not a teenager or a girl.
Don't do loose because I'm not a fatty.

Which leaves me with 506s, 581s 501s and the exception being 751s.

Unless of course they actually fit you and look good...

Your description of straight legged jeans sounds like something your dad would wear - and 'buns' - wtf?

Skinny jeans can look ridiculous, or can look good - depends on your overall build, as can baggies. To sum up - the wrong type of jeans on the wrong body shape will look crap, but any type carried off properly can look ok.

Levi 511's. I like 'em.

+2 on the Levi's 511s. Superb jeans, it's taken me years and many hundreds of pounds wasted to finally settle on the ultimate fit (for me).
I've currently got 4 pairs (medium blue fade, indigo blue, jet black and grey) and another blue pair waiting to replace the medium blue fade pair when I eventually wear them out.

6"0, 12.2 stone and 33 years of age wearing 32/32.

Skinny jeans or straight leg ones usually, or sometimes a faded pair with rips in them, and little frayed bits. I like allsorts. I havent worn a pair of baggy jeans for a long time though.

Skinny, cos I'm young and can get away with it. Old people cannot. Dress with dignity once you get over 30 ffs.

Levis 514 in 31/32, all bought in the US. I have four pairs including cords. I don't think 31 waist is available here. Straight but not slim.

If you're wearing 511's, you aren't riding enough 😉

What a retarded comment umop3pisdn - is over 30 old now? Thankfully my daughter and her mates think me and Mrs STR are quite cool - mostly because we don't conform to the usual 40 something dullness

Slim or straight. I don't like skinny, too uncomfortable around the thighs.

Come on, we need pics of you and Mrs STR rocking your trendy mum and dad jeans now.

My daughter thinks I'm the coolest guy in the world too. She is 4 though.
