He wasn’t driving the car quick at all!

He was driving at speeds unsuitable for that road Unless your suggesting the footage was sped up for the video.

That said it could quite easy have been closed off for vid.

In that vid you can tell from the engine note - given that thanks to the Boxters weird gearing (depending on exact model) the redline in 2nd has one at nearly 80mph!

Was in Puerto Pollenca a couple of years back, and you could hear the "spirited" driving up to Cap Formantor from the hotel balcony on the beach most mornings...So could the cops; who used to set a road block and stop any nice looking cars on their way back down...

Well, looks like I'm one of the lucky ones with the semiconductor lottery. Picking up the Golf R next weekend.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this thread though. Thanks for the cars, I'll come back here in 2 years time!
