With local trails (Gisburn Forest) an inch thick in ice, I was thinking of heading down to Penmachno, CoedyB, Mach etc for a few days mid-week. A little local feedback on trail conditions would be great, cheers.

Did the dyfi winter warmer around the climachx trail last week.
Ice has melted - a bit muddy in places but riding well.
Seems to be milder in the west - for a change.
The cross country stuff is still soggy and icy at the tops
