IIRC Bob Holness was the first James Bond….
That one is true I think. It was on a radio dramatisation.
Ah, not quite, he was the second. Wikipedia:
"In 1955, he received his first job as a radio presenter and, a year later, became the second actor to portray James Bond (after Barry Nelson in the 1954 TV special Casino Royale) in a radio production of Moonraker for the SABC's Springbok Radio."

Youn't actually see Kilimanjaro from the Serengeti.
Another good 'fact' is that Lawrence Llwelyn-Bowen is the late Jim Bowen's son.

I like this one, but sadly it rarely works as a chat-up line 🙁

A bit less than 50%, you've overlooked those who are actually of average intelligence.
I worked with the guy who was replaced at Man United by George Best....

Yeah, if your using the IQ score (not a great measure) as a test then some people will be at 100. It's a bell curve as well, so a higher number than you'd expect would be at 100.
I believe that Toto’s lead singer at time of Africa was Bobby Kimball. Joseph Williams joined later, But he is John Williams son.
Joined late 80s IIRC, left (kicked out for drug abuse) and then rejoined a few years back. Still my favourite Toto singer.

I'm sure you can't see Olympus either so it's a pretty fair statement
The kid in that yellow pages ad from the 70's cycles the wrong way up a one way street at the end.
Bloody cyclists. Bet he didn't pay any road tax either.
Kilimanjaro, at its peak, is 5895m high.
Olympus is 2917m. Less than half its height.
So it's a crap simile too. Ace band though!

The fail is strong with this one. Try Louis Armstrong.
Someone dubbed him "satchel mouth" for his mouth acting as a satchel. Another tale is that because of his large mouth, he was nicknamed "satchel mouth" which was shortened to "Satchmo".
People actually still hold the band Toto in some kind of reverence... Well, I never knew that.
In other Louis Armstrong (old) news, he once asked Nixon to carry his bag onto a plane, knowing he wouldn't get searched for weed

you might not know this about robert fripp (king crimson guitarist)
Fripp began playing guitar at the age of eleven.[37] When he started, he was tone deaf and had no rhythmical sense, weaknesses which led him later to comment "Music so wishes to be heard that it sometimes calls on unlikely characters to give it voice."[38] He was also naturally left-handed but opted to play the guitar right-handed.
