All quiet in the Yoss house last night. SOCO was inconclusive as the bloke was wearing gloves. The babysitter has got an identity parade later this week. I'm sorry for posting about it on this thread, probably the wrong place.

Best thing is that the kids have been totally unaffected by it, they keep asking when the police and the doggies are coming round for a mince pie . Gotta also say that although I'm usually no fan of the cops they were brilliant.

Off to work now after 30 minutes of wacky races on the tv. Gotta love that show!

I've been awake all night... Not with LittleP though, but with a similar amount of drool, poop, and tantrums.....

Sssh-I never lived with my folks ๐Ÿ˜‰
We've been independent for several months now-still not unpacked it all!

Back on track..
I like the grape story! The oddest thing our lad wanted for breakfast was wasabi peas... Mental!

I feel pretty lucky having quickly read this thread.
My 1yr old daughter. Pretty much the same last night as every other night for the last 9 months, Went to sleep at 7:30, not a squeak. I went in to kiss her good night at about 11 and woke her up (idiot) so had to spend all of 5 mins getting her settled and asleep again. She then woke due to me getting up at 6:00 this morning (we sleep in the room above) so got I her some milk and left for work (she holds the bottle herself now so no need to even feed her!)
I guess she'll sleep till about 7:30, when Mrs transapp will be ready to get up.
The only differance to a normal night really was the waking up at 11. I think I have an angel child!!

Battling Colic last few days too & to top it of, both me & Missus have some viral flu type thing going on & she did her back in last night.

Currently still at Pembury hospital with Mrs and lil' bullheart after her dramatic and unexpected entrance in 2011. I'm now beginning to understand exactly what membership to this exclusive club actually means...

She is sleeping soundly and has done all night. I've been up for nearly an hour because she has conditioned me to be this way.

My two were up half past bloody four today. Thought I'd knackered them out with a 2 hour scooter ride yesterday but apparently not. Very excited little boys at the minute. I'm hiding under the duvet for an hour or so. ๐Ÿ™‚

Daughters plan to enhance my performance when operating on minimal sleep seems to be working. Her recent sleep depravation techniques meant that when she woke earlier I got up, got her up, started getting ready for breakfast and only glanced at the clock briefly to see how much of a lie in we had had. Only then did I realise that it was... 3.30 am! Felt pretty good on the 4 hours until then so assumed I would be awesome come actual get up time (alarm at 6.30 to try and recover some normal routine whilst I am off for the holidays). Maybe awesome was optimistic but not too bad, and she is only just rousing now...
Considerable improvement on her recent screaming fits of the last few days that we haven't quite fathomed yet. Oh, and she is nearly 20 months now, so don't assume once they are sleeping through that you gave cracked it, it can come back again later. The 3 hours of sleep nights recently have made me all musty eyed and nostalgic for the good old days of a newborn ๐Ÿ˜‰

for all my showing off leading up to xmas regarding yunki Jr and his 12 hours uninterrupted every night I am now paying a karmic price..

He's still sleeping through... BUT.. with Mrs yunki now 8 months pregnant and quite immobile and uncomfortable and grumpy through lack of sleep.. it has fallen to me to be the life and soul of the party as I steer yunki Jr (and the stranded Mrs yunki..) through our third and most exciting xmas as a family..

Only I'm flipping ill.. not cold and sniffles ill.. or man flu or overindulgence ill.. or run down and exhausted ill.. or even real flu or food poisoning.. but an inflammatory bowel disease which is very much a cunning combination of all the above but with added misery and discomfort.. and it could take weeks for the IBD to go into remittance..

It's now becoming a bit of a struggle and I'm wondering how long it will be before it starts to get me down.. aah well... at least there's another bambino on the way..

I think I'll just pop out for a morning ride for the sake of my sanity..
aah..

no I won't.. I'm weak as a kitten and my lower half feels like I've been run over.. and I'm almost guaranteed to poo myself anyway

Tilt the little uns bed up with a few books, vicks on chest and back and olbas oil really help with coughs. I feel your pains as I've suffered hugely with sleep deprevation and massive sleep debt in the past.. wo much so I collapsed and ended up in casualty with heart palpitations, complete exhaustion and severe fatigue. Its not until you build up a large sleep debt that you realise how important proper restful sleep is. There is no manning up when you get past a certain point of fatigue.. your body just stops.

Coffee is brewing, and this lot is cooking. Plenty spare if anyone wants some

We had the opposite, my 4.5yr old didn't go to sleep till 2am, but still got up at 7. A day of chilling and watching films me think.

Morning all ...
Staying with my brother and his heavily pregnant other half. My 6 y.o. daughter trots into my room at 5:30, ouch. After 5 minutes realise her 1 y.o. sister is awake. Make bottle, wake up mad spaniel and therefore the whole house. Everyone back to bed, but no sleep so give up and come downstairs.
Watching cat in the hat. More coffee needed.
Good insight into the future for my bro though ๐Ÿ˜‰

'morning!
What's the correct etiquette for grinding the coffee beans when the littlest one arises? I say, that if I am awake, it's ok. My wife says, I need to wait until 2 y.o. awakes as her bedroom is above the kitchen.

She awoke at 0520, little darling. We're all about the potty training so straight on to the potty and in to 'big girl panties' for another day of 30 minute potty breaks and extra laundry!

Channel 5 had Thomas on before 6. Who knew?

this is a first, its 8.03am and both of mine (and the wife) are still fast assleep, normally there up at 6!

Result, either that or i'm the only survivor of a carbon monoxide incident!

Ah wonderful just spent the last hour cleaning bits of sick off various floors upstairs following Jnr FD's vomitting sessions, this was another level of sick not encountered before, no longer relatively week smelling baby sick but putrid smelling toddler sick. Picking the bits of undigested fish and part digested peas up was particularly nice.

Now to sleep in a room that stinks of puke while Mrs FD nurses Jnr next door ๐Ÿ˜€ already been told though if it continues for more than a couple of hours I can expect to swap bucket holding duty ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
