Hello all... Anyone have any idea what this is growing in my garden. The fruit is pretty soft with a hard seed in the middle surrounded by clear liquid. Not seen anything like this before..... And no I have not tasted it... Yet.

An unripe Dika?
green almond?
Something with a drupe, which narrows it down. Any leaf/flower shots?
Ta will take some pics of the tree tomorrow. Closest looking to green almond I think but texture is a little different from what I can find on Google. The nut was white though (split in half, you can just see the bits in the pic)
Late bump.
It's a forbidden fruit, put there to test you.
I must be getting old, I got and laughed at Drac's post. Pod people explains quite a lot.
Is it not greengage?
Ah ah... No for the late bump. It was a an almond as confirmed by a proper green garden plant man.
