Was very good. A true epic.
I'm tempted to pick the book up from the shelf and read it.

Too much Peace and not enough War for my liking but as far as Period Dramas go, it is pretty good. Loved Jim Broadbent, Vivian has been good and Paul Dano can surely only go on to bigger and better things.

Perfect 09:00 Sunday drama. Who cares how faithful it is, or whether the informs were wrong at times. Just great way to end the weekend.
I did expect more gore though !

Some contrived scenes and awful dialogue in Ep 5+6, but other than that an excellent adaption.
