I hate them I really do!!!

Tried to complain, told that no manager awailable (Bullsh*t) and that it would be 24 hours before they called back. 24 hours later no call, 48 hours later no call. Called them no note on system of call.

Also mis-sold me a product last year. Had a contract with them, called me up asking if I wanted an other £7 for 6 months and that the contract would only run for as long as my own one (9 months remaining). 9 months later try to cancel contract told me it was for 18 moths and that after 9 it was going up to £20 per month. Called me a lyer and never came back to me even after 25 phone calls with information about the call recording.

I stupidly took a new contract out with them as they offered the best unlimited WAP contract, and they have started their s**t again. I really should have known better.

They are charging me for 900 minutes of calls for last month even thought my phone only shows half that on the call timer, but say that all calls were made from my handset and that there was nothing I could do. There are crooks. Dont use them!!!!

now that has just made me even madder lol.

Just so annoying that with their contracts even if they **** it up, over charge you and p1ss you off to this extent they wont cancel it without charging you a fortune. Crooks!!!

I think I'll go back to a pay as you go. I have nothing but bother with phone contracts.

I was going to go with O2 but Voda had the best offers of handsets and contracts. Mind you that is cause they make it back off you by shafting you silly!!!

When I recently changed my phone to O2, I really enjoyed telling vodafone where to poke it and you get all that pleasure several times as they phone you up to try an get you to stay.

They will be the handsets that are locked to Voda, have their crappy branded software on it and have their poxy logo on as well, right? 😉

When you do get to speak to a manager, ask them to stop calling me and asking for teresa... she's never lived here, and still I get 16 calls today alone for her!

Been with Vodafone for 10 years plus and have always been very good service for me, although I do spend a shed load on business calls. Living in highland Scotland it is easily the best coverage

i agree they have the best coverage and with my work phone they do everything but kiss your arse, but as a normal personal customer they are shit.

I'm just waiting till my contract expires in August to give the big E to vodafone.

It is good coverage but they are shafting me for my Blackberry and I know I can get a btter deal with O2.

Shakey, take a close look at the contracts - they should be very similar. Blackberry charge pretty much the same to all operators, which really pi**es off the operators as they cannot differentiate their service from the next guy

Agreed.

Currently arguing with them over the discounted line rental that the chappy agreed to when I upgraded, only to find 'there's no record of any discount on the file' when I query the bill. Just like last year. They used to be good, not any more. Next year I'm going elsewhere.

O2 must have improved since I worked for them.... they wer always a bloody nightmare and as a shop manager I ended up taking all the abuse from the customers they told "go to your local shop, they'll sort it". Meant that "care" met their call handling targets even though shops had no access to customer service facilities on the computers

Just thinking about this some more...

My upgrade was all done over the phone. They are now saying they have no record on my file of the discounted line rental. I've asked them to check the phone call. If they come back saying they didn't record it, they have no record of me agreeing to a further contract have they?

I have given up telephone correspondence with all call-centre style 'customer services' departments. I find letters work much better, take less time, and for the price of a stamp, are considerably cheaper!

It's my own fault. They did exactly the same last time around, but in the end backed down when I gave them names, times and dates of my phone calls. I should have gone elsewhere.

I have a good mate who works for Vodafone customer services. If you want I can put you in touch, she's uber-helpful.

you want to try registering yourself and your band with this bunch, in order to advertise for new musicians...

www.musicians-in-your-city.co.uk

they want to know the tiniest little detail about you; you can't have fewer than 3 members already in your band; you can't say this or do that but you have to have at least 50 characters of comment. jeez. fascists

If that's a general offer, I might take you up on it if the complaint I've already made doesn't resolve it.

Well my gripe is (allegedly) all sorted now.

I started a thread on the Vodafone eForum (well actually two but the first one written in anger got pulled after a few minutes), a moderator emailed me to see what the problem was, and has now rectified the problem.

Still slow, but seem to have a bit more about them than the normal customer service people. Although I wait cautiously for my next bill to make sure they have indeed sorted it as promised.
