I’m curious on a VAT amount. could someone tell me how to work out the invoice amount if the VAT only element is £1300. Ta muchly.

whats the VAT rate?
if its 20%, id suggest that the original vatable invoice was £6.5k and the total £7.8k..

VAT 20% (£1300) x 5. £6500
£6500x 1.2 = £7800 total

Thanks. It is a straight 20 percent calculation then I’d got a different calculation in mind.

Divide the inclusive total by 6. Simple.
