My home insurance policy states that all named items must have a written valuation <3 years old. For us that covers some jewellery and bicycles.

Where does one go to get such valuations performed? How much might we expect to pay for the service?

Cheers,

Paul

I think I'd try a different insurer. I suppose it saves arguments after things are stolen but I couldn't be doing that every year

The chap that made my wifes rings always provides us with an updated valuation FoC when required. Maybe the jeweller where you purchased the items from would provide for you?

Bikes...not sure, none of mine are worth that much.
