This is really annoying me now. I have a 2 month old Cruzer card with some important files I was working on last week (while out and about).
But since I've got back, the damn thing won't be recognised by any PC or laptop. Every time I plug it in, the machine asks me to format it. I can't find any way round this.
Any chance you STWers have some ideas?

try a recovery programme?

Hmm, I thought you might be onto something there. But I've given it a go and it can't recover anything. Will have a look at some other recovery tools.
