Unlikely subjects for a musical – Page 2 – Chat Forum

So, for reasons that I don’t fully understand, I’m going to see Bonnie & Clyde The Musical tonight. Two murderous armed robbers who were (spoiler alert) shot 43 times between them in their final fateful encounter with the law, and were in such a mess that their bodies were towed to the morgue still in the car. Presumably because nobody wanted to open the doors and ruin their shoes. Struggling to think of any uplifting song and dance numbers that can come from that. So, what else would be an odd choice for a musical? The Icelandic Cod War? Brexit? Chernobyl?
