As I said earlier in the thread - my dog makes more sense than chewkw - I think she'd be insulted that I'm setting the bar so low for her.

Chew: I you watch the country you call home falling over itself in its efforts to disappear up its own arsehole, would you really just be stoic about it??

A dislike for the EU bureaucratic system has nothing to do with the EU people.

It certainly doesn't look like that from the perspective of a lot of my European friends. They feel unwanted and have been left in limbo for months. Some of them have been insulted. Because of this I will never accept brexit (I would actually like to, being angry for 9 months can't be healthy).

Don't try and talk to it, for christ's sake!

Chewk is right ...

Like I said this march is pointless because it cannot change the end result no matter how many marches they do because we are leaving EU Bureaucratic system.

Unlike industrial marches organised by Unions they have a purpose to look after the working class people.

This EU Bureaucratic march is essentially a lefties middle class march which is completely pointless other than looking after number one.

Yes, dogs make more sense than human. 😆 I bet she wants to stay home to rest rather than going for pointless march to be honest. You have a clever dog. Good dog.

My country is a dump. The leader is extremely corrupted and I don't mean millions ... it is in billions. The scale of corruption is so high yours in the West is peanuts by comparison. Corruption scale is common knowledge amongst the people. Therefore, all that you have described are absolutely true and I totally agree with you. It is a dump. Honest. It is a dump so what is new? Only tourists will tell you it is a paradise ... paradise my foot. Most of the Orang Utan are murdered by the loggers and the Borneo Rhinos are almost extinct due to poaching, the Borneo sun bear are killed for their bile.

The only reason they think this way because of they have been brainwashed into the doom and gloom scenario by the reminder ... Go tell them they are welcome. Tell them not to listen to the EU Bureaucratic system.

There are two different "organising" groups for the March. One has said it should becalled off so as not to further stress the London police post Westminster attack. The other says it should go ahead.

That sounds highly unlikely, why would there be two different organising groups for the same march?

Got any sauce?

Kimbers.

Go on that March, I genuinely hope it goes without incident. I expect the Police have a lot on at the moment.

But while some on here have pointed out the 48% shouldn't be ignored.

Remainers Marches do look to me like the participants don't care about those for whom the EU didn't appear to work.

Without incident? 😀

I reckon you've overestimated the violent tendencies of a few thousand liberal elites.

Anyway. The reason this thread wasn't closed as a duplicate is that it was to discuss the march, rather than retread the same ground as the huge one. You want to argue leave vs remain, or want to be a patronising bell-end, go do it there. I'll be aggressively deleting off-topic conversation from here on in.

I should have set up a stall selling tissues so these trecherous anti democracy snowflakes could mop away their big boohoo tears.
I would have made a mint i recon.

Good call oldtalent - that's the Dunkirk spirit at work. When our economy is completely bolloxed we can sell tissues to each other.
Maybe you could also export them to NZ 🙂

Aren't you too busy embroidering Union Jack cushion covers?

@oldtalent 🙂

Crowd estimates where as low as 25,000 and plenty of the press reports used words to reflect the small size of the march.

Well done, made your banners and chanted a few slogans.

Jamby don't worry it was FAKE NEWS absolutely no one turned up.
The pictures are of one sad lonely loser running around his garden lots of times.

Far more interesting than the march I thought was that some Brexiteers felt the need to hack emails (which is illegal) in an attempt to stop it. Remind me who the anti-democracy snowflakes are?

I think poetry is the way forward.

The people have spoken,
With voices ignorant and loud.
We're abandoning humanity,
I've never been less proud.

Brainwashed by the far right, a victim to your fears
How did you mark your ballot with your fingers in your ears?

A little island voted Leave
And drifted off to sea
Headed for the Lands of Grief
With Hate for company

Police reports estimate turnout at around 100,000, seemingly.
