Can't decide who's worse and does more damage - Sunak or Kuensberg.  Both are atrocious.

The whole episode today would have made a great episode of The Thick of It.

Curious as to why now? Either this was always the plan or a reaction to no confidence letters going in? Either way who cares?

You'd think he would have checked the weather forecast though? 😀

Fantastic news! We're moving house on 19th June. Not sure what to do about our voting address now, not sure we'll have time to get ID changed to show our new address given DVLA delays.

Also it’s a bold move to go on about stopping the boats in summer when small boat crossings are at their highest.

I'm a wee bit surprised tbh, after the locals and mayorals the only time they ever looked at all happy was when they were seeing low turnout, so I figured they'd go for winter and hope that the misery factor would be offset by that.

And the French police will be tied up with the Olympics prep and other partners with the Euros

Generalisation based upon documented voting habits of younger voters. You disagree with the widely reported stats I take it?

i assume the address does not need to be correct as you can use a passport and various other ID that doesn’t have an address.  BUT since the whole ID implementation is a shit show - if you had any worries, when you register at the new addresses your local electoral registration officer for the election specific ID.

If she can make a case to vote, tactically or otherwise to just one of her apolitical peers, she can look back with pride imo.

I am surprised by this for sure.  I thought they would hang on longer.  I( do wonder if the letters have been going in,

Bets?  Reform to stand down in tory seats and Farage to get something as a reward - peerage maybe

I reckon they've jumped on the inflation news.

And yes they could have done it inside.

Suck. A. Duck. I am stunned

For that, he will want to stay in power for as long as possible

And the Mystic Meg award goes to... (I would have said exactly the same!)

I hope they come round.

Question is now.....

Try to persuade people to vote Labour,  or try to persuade tory voters to vote reform

Wow!  I could have sworn it would be late autumn at the earliest.   Given the local election results he he knows 4 July will be a beating for the tories and I'd have thought he'd wait to hope we felt better as inflation falls..... does he think things will just get worse!?

OK Labour,  don't mess up and we should see the tories handed their butts.
