[Closed] Travellers

dammit. I thought this was one of binners' more diplomatic threads...

I used to drink in a pub called the Travellers Rest, nice old place, down a steep hill near some old iron smelting kilns. Bit of a walk back up the hill, but it was a,lovely view of the river, especially if it was a clear moonlight night. If it was frosty, the trees used to glisten, you could smell the holly as you closed in towards the churchyard. After 4 pints, a belly full of giggles and a take away curry from the curry house and all was well with the world.
Oh, how I miss that.
