Have been insured with bank for years but no longer with that bank so need to arrange annual European travel insurance. Multi trip, no winter sports, scuba diving, in my '50s, not family travel.
Any advice on what to get/avoid would be helpful

Cheers

Just use Go Compare or similar, filter on the excess and cover level you want, then see what is suitable for what you need

Columbus travel. Good policy, lots of options to tailor it to your needs. More importantly paid out when an accident a week before a holiday meant we couldn't go. Full pay out with no quibbles.

I was on the point of insuring with LV (found out I was covered by work so didn't need it). Good price and recommended.
