I've bought a Citroen Berlingo van to shuttle the bikes around and it's come with a Trafficmaster Teletrac unit fitted. I never asked for this. There's no mention of any cost on the vehicle invoice. It looks & appears to function like a satnav but it's obviously got a sim card in it because it can dial out to register the unit. I'm beginning to smell a (recurring fee) rat as there's no free lunch etc. I've not registered the unit yet.

Can anyone shed any light on this thing. I'm on the verge of ripping the f'kin thing out :o)

Many thanks, Dave.

There used to be a trafficmaster fitted to my dad's carlton.

Push the button and it would say - Trafficmaster - Traffic moving freely.

That is all it ever said, ever.

Not much help, but I know the company let the license lapse on it as it was not much use.

We had one in an astra once, really ****ing irritating as it would cut into the radio/CD to tell you the licence had expired.
