[Closed] Tour tickets - can you still sell if you can't get there?

Mrs FD would like to go and see Take That next June in Manchester. £100 f'in quid per ticket !!

However, she will not know her work rota until February at the very earliest.

In days gone buy that would not be a problem as I we could have just sold the tickets on Ebay. Can you still sell tickets on Ebay, or has it all been stopped now to try and prevent fraud? Is there any other way we would be able to get our money back?

Ta

I'm pretty sure you would be able to sell these on should you be unable to attend.

I've sold tickets on ebay in the past without problem. Your biggest issue will be getting them in the first place, if they go on sale at 9am they'll be sold out by 9:07.

I reckon they will keep adding more dates to try and get one over the ebay dealers and touts, you will sell them no worries on ebay though

£100 per ticket + alimony. That would be quite expensive in my house.

I'd love to go, but I'd already decided not to bother as I throught ticket prices would be circa £60. Not a chance on earth I'm paying £100 each.

as for selling tickets on, perfectly legal

Can't you - sorry, your wife 😉 - simply book a days holiday if the rota doesn't work out?

I would suggest using a specialist ticket reselling site like Seatwave instead of ebay

Obviously mine was too subtle, but I couldn't share a house with a Take That fan!
