These were taken along the Wilts & Berks Canal, which is undergoing restoration. This section is Pewsham Locks, which need to be completely rebuilt, because it was used by Canadian troops for demolition practice during the war!

I haven’t ridden this lane in years, (Weavern Lane, near Biddestone), and it’s bitterly disappointing that the 4x4’s feel they’re entitled to trash centuries old rights of way - the original level is where the tops of my tyres are…

@colournoise yes, a very busy Moffat on our way back from The Black Isle. Very busy and we got wedged down a tiny back lane in the motorhome!
The photo has been cropped a bit, but the bird was only a couple of feet away - it didn’t seem at all bothered by the fact there were several people around, we had to keep an eye on it to avoid stepping on it! It flew off into the wood bordering the club. Cute little thing.
