Not the best quality but taken with phone at 4.30 last night - we’ve seen them (barn owls) for the last few evenings between 4 & 5 off Hollowford Road, Castleton.

Out in my back garden this morning, and the kite was back, and it had brought a friend! Maybe they’re scoping the area out for a nesting site…

Off on the skyline above in the centre is Cherhill White Horse and beyond that to the left is the Ridgeway above Avebury, about ten or so miles from Biddestone, where I took this from.

Currently parked up at 1100m on the border of Liguria and Tuscany, just north of Cinque Terre.
